Finding Inspiration in Every Turn

At Sharon Spangler Productions, we combine creativity, empathy and technical expertise with the Muse Storytelling process to craft inspiring films that help you achieve your goals.

We focus on finding the heart of a story by seeking out amazing people to show how their journey embodies the values and mission of your business or nonprofit. Our films are designed to inspire action and create connections. We value authenticity and determination.

With over 20 years of experience in journalism, marketing and videography, we have honed our storytelling skills to produce high-quality films that capture the essence of your brand.  From concept development to post-production, we bring a brand's story to life through the eyes of those who have lived it, creating a genuine and unforgettable connection with the people you want to reach.

My Story

Thank you for taking the time to learn about me. I've been on one side of the camera or the other for most of my career. I got into storytelling by accident when I went back to school for a second degree in the Journalism Department at the University of Nevada, Reno after appearing on local commercials. I though I just wanted to figure out how to get more air time, but I fell in love with every aspect of putting a story together - producing, writing, interviewing, editing and all the post production. There's always something new to learn about the profession and more importantly, what makes people who they are - their goals, desires and drive.

I think my main motivation has been my curiously and creative spirit. I also really value my easy connection to people who I meet through my work. I think everyone has something really interesting about them. I've been most humbled by the stories I've done on patients surviving life-threatening illnesses. So much love and hope.

I began my storytelling career as a broadcast journalist for CBS. I gravitated towards the personal interest stories. And I covered just about every major murder trial in Reno for about six years. My next stop in my storytelling journey was running the City of Reno's TV channel. There I produced hundreds of stories and nearly a dozen programs. My last job before going in to business for myself was the video producer/videographer for Renown Health. Here I had the amazing opportunity to tell real life stories of patients who's strength and determination and the expertise of  their medical professionals saved their lives.
